Friday’s Joy

I found this earlier this week and I found it really really profound. There was a sad story that came out about a local student who took her life because of a in school bullying issue. This made me really sad. I just wanted to remind everyone that YOU are important and the world is a better place with you in it.

Week in Review 

We had an artic blast over the weekend! I am pretty sure the whole US was frozen. I ventured out Saturday morning for my first of six training sessions with Adrienne. I’ve trained with her and took many of her exercise classes over the years. I love going to the gym but sometimes I need someone to kick my butt. 

Sunday was nice and relaxing. I spent the afternoon snacking and watching New Girl. 

I jumped into Monday with two feet. I swear I didn’t have one minute to sit still and think this week. Work flew by and I got so much done. It feels nice to finally sorta kinda maybe be caught up. 

Tuesday night was climbing and yoga. Yikes my climbing was shakey- The team kids took over the wall and I observed mostly.  Yoga was relaxing I felt strong.  It was just like a private session with another girl, myself and the instructor. My favorite benefit of my GV membership is the yoga classes. The membership is totally worth it!  Before heading home, I stopped at Chik Fil A for large fries. They tasted extra yummy!

Wednesday morning, I had an early morning doctor’s appointment with my gastroenteritis, and it was the quickest appointment ever! Since I’m feeling healthy and doing good- it was a more of a check in and he said he would see me in a year! A YEAR!!! This is the very best news I could get. I remember for years I would see him every month/6 weeks and now it’s a yearly check up?! WAHOOOO! That is cause for celebration! 

Overall it was a great week!

Knock at the Cabin’s Jersey Connection/// I saw this and I kept thinking throughout the whole movie “wow! these woods look magical!” and low and behold, its because they are in South Jersey! Creepy movie, book was creepy too! (The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Trembley)
