Fabulous Five on Friday

Happy Friday friends!

Why do short weeks always seem so much longer than regular weeks? HA! This was a good week. It’s a transition week for me- I did my normal monthly reports and end of the month stuff but I also finished out the 2020 fiscal year for the courts. WHAT?! All my docket numbers will now be ending in 21 now and its crazy. You would like I would get used to something that like after working for so many year but no, it still gets me.

I have been diving back into some old playlists this week on Spotify. Sometimes, I feel like I get stuck in a rut with music and I will jump back into long forgotten playlists and it always seems to refresh me. This week I relived the OAR concert in Atlantic City back in December, bopped along to Taylor Swift and found some lo-fi beats for studying. Have you been listening to anything fun? On to this weeks favorites:

1. Caitlin from Southern Pearls and Curls posted a recipe for Zucchini Ravioli’s this week on her Instagram and I cannot wait to try this out! Fingers crossed it tastes as good as it looks. Find the recipe here.

2. I follow a photographer on Facebook called John Entwistle. He takes such spectacular photos and his perspective of landscapes is very unique. Tonight he posted this photo and I was in AWE of this. Its beautiful. I wonder how many photos he took  before getting this perfect shot. He reminds me a lot of Peter Lik, another fantastic photographer that does landscapes.

3.These two kids got the thrill of their lives when a police officer decided to crash a water balloon fight and firefighters came to play in a water fight. These two videos brought such a smile to my face this week. Check out the Police Water Balloon Fight here and the Firefighter water fight here.

Talking about water balloon fights, how neat are these things? I remember spending an hour filling the water balloons and then in less than 5 minutes they would all be gone and we would be picking up the little rubber pieces. Has anyone used these?

That’s it, short and sweet this week.
I hope you all have a wonderful, safe holiday weekend. Enjoy the sunshine and I will be back on Monday for Movie Movie.

Those bunch-o-balloons are amazing!! We love them and they sure are huge time savers from the old way. I hope you let us know how those zucchini ravioli are if you try them; that sounds like something I'd love.
