Crohn’s Confidential: Crohn’s and Colitis Warriors

Social Media is so cool!

The power to bring so many people together and to educate people on things they might not be aware of. There is a large group of Crohn’s and Colitis Warriors I have found over the years. Their stories are so diverse along with their experiences. Sharing something personal like your health is not easy but I love how honest and not sugar-coated these warriors are. We (those of us who have IBD) know all the struggles we deal with and being able to share it with others makes it somewhat easier to cope with. It gives us hope that we are not alone and there are others out there, who deal with the same/similar things. I love what they give to the community and what awareness they can provide to a disease that is widly misunderstood.

If you search “Crohn” or “Crohn’s Disease” in Instagram, you will come up with hundreds of profiles and hashtags that will provide such a great insight into this crazy world of living with a chronic illness.
