wonder grace joy was created three years ago today!
When wonder grace joy was created, I had already been blogging for 9 years on and off. Having a blog was nothing new to me and while it was sporadic in the beginning, three years ago, I really set out to be more consistent to see where this could take me.
I had NO idea back in January 2020 setting an intention to be more consistent with blogging, it would provide me something that was definitely missing- something to look forward to that I could do from the comfort of my house during a very uncertain time. I am forever thankful for that distraction and what WGJ has turned into.
Since 2020, I have written a total of 470 posts! FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY!!! That is a lot of words, photos and time dedicated to this blog. How cool is that? A lot of the series that I write now (Love Letters, WGJ Playlists, Diary posts) I started back in 2020. I love that I can go look back on what I was taking photos of in 2020 and I would probably take those same photos today. I have found a niche for myself- everyday jersey girl. Just an everyday girl who happens to live in Jersey; her life is full of wonder grace and joy.
I remember sitting down in mid 2019 deciding what the name of my blog would be and I somehow came up with the words Wonder Grace and Joy. I am not sure why I choose these specific words but I am really happy I did. Here is something I wrote to help my vision. I was way ahead of my time when I sat down and wrote this. Within the brackets under each word is the dictionary definitions of those words.
I am so glad my original vision of WGJ has lasted through these years. Being able to look back and see how far you have come AND to see where you are going next is a treat.
